Bad Friend was founded in 2011, with a mission to put out great music that didn't fit elsewhere. We love pop, we love noise, and we love the many artists who fall somewhere on the spectrum between the two. Whether it's earthy drone-folk or hazy dream-pop or wild art-punk freakouts, we're into it.

The label is run by Rye Thomas and Brendan Polmer, based in Washington, DC.

We're not presently accepting demos or offering internships.
